Tea Time in the Atrium
The Westin Bellevue Dresden has a speciality to offer: Afternoon Tea. Every Saturday and Sunday our guests can celebrate this grand tradition in the unique environment of the light-flooded atrium.Finest tea qualities from the Teehaus Ronnefeldt, including some rarities, render taking tea a sensual pleasure. A 52-pages tea menu lists 70 types of Ronnefeldt leaf teas, including black and green teas, semi-fermented Oolongs, flavoured teas, as well as herbal and fruit infusions.
Here, the Ronnefeldt Teastar Collection stands out: It is made up of nine loose leaf teas of the finest quality, including fine-sounding names such as ‚Jasmine Pearl‘ or ‚Smoked China‘. Three genuine rarities, such as ‚Mu Dan – The Tea Rose‘, add to the distinguished quality of this fine selection. The Westin Bellevue Dresden is particularly proud to have a certified tea expert on site: TeaMaster Gold Ute Tennert. She was trained in Sri Lanka and Frankfurt by the Ronnefeldt tea company and today is one of 45 TeaMasters active in Germany. The 39- year-old expert advises tea lovers about flavours, desired effects, and of course about accompanying treats.
Holger Bartkowiak, Chef de Cuisine, serves corresponding delicacies: Whether it is sandwiches, cake specialities, tea biscuits, petit fours or chocolates, everyone will find their ideal supplement to the pleasure of tea.
